The Contemporary Choir put on a fine show this weekend at Hurst Castle as part of the Milford Music and Arts Festival. The lively set was watched by over 150 people who seemed to thoroughly enjoy the entertainment.
Some of the choir walked along the spit with family and friends whilst other caught the ferry. The weather was stunning and the castle provided a lovely setting.
The event was a great way to pay tribute to dear friends Jill, Joyce and John. With sponsorship, a cake sale in rehearsal and collection tins on the day we hope to have raised a good sum for Oakhaven Hospice in their memory. We’ll keep you posted once we have the grand total.
Thank you to everyone who took part from the choir and also those who came along to support us.
Have a lovely summer.
