This year as part of the Milford Music and Arts Festival we’ll be heading over to Hurst Castle to perform a fabulous summer set there.
Working with the tides we’ll be heading out from 3pm ready to perform at 4pm. Then it’s back to the village for those who want to enjoy the evening entertainment on the village green.
More details to follow.
Sound check times:

Please note that this is two events – 3pm and 6pm for about 45 minutes each, plus a brief rehearsal with the pianist at 1.30pm.
If you can’t get to the rehearsal because you’re not doing the afternoon performance, don’t worry. It’s more for the pianist’s benefit than ours.
Please arrive at 2.30pm for the 3pm service, and 5.30pm for the 6pm service.
Kick off the start of the festive season at Daniel’s Lodge where Christine’s Grandpa lives! We’ll perform our festive set to all the residents in their lovely lounge. We can take along up to 25 singers.
Meet at 10.45am at Daniel’s Lodge. Parking is limited but you can use the surrounding roads.
We’ll sing at around 6.15pm, so be there at 6pm.
The Chamber Choir will perform a couple of songs, then both choirs will sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas, followed by the carols. Carol sheets will be given out at the Contemporary Choir rehearsal on the 6th. Please keep hold of them for all your festive performances.
Don’t forget to wrap up warm and bring a torch.
Join us for the Memory Lane Christmas party. Entertain guests with our Christmas songs and a few fun warm-up games and enjoy some tea and cake.
Meet at 5.45pm at St Georges. Limited parking, but you can park on the surrounding roads.
Wear your choir t-shirt. Bring your carol sheets.
Please arrive at 2.45pm and be prepared to be flexible about where you stand. It’s always slightly chaotic and we have to adapt to circumstances!
The Contemporary Choir will perform two songs, then the Chamber Choir will perform two, then the Contemporary Choir will join the Chamber Choir for Swingle Bells.
Please bring your carol sheet. After this gig, you can bin it!
Come and join us for a small, friendly performance in Daniel’s Lodge to residents there plus refreshments afterwards.
We will be joining the Blackheath Choirs to sing Brahms’ German Requiem in St Alfege’s Church in the centre of Greenwich.
For those travelling by coach: it will leave Sea Road at 9.45am. Return will be at 10.30pm, after the post-concert reception that our host choirs are organising for us (which will be in the church hall next to St Alfege’s).
